the pyramid of the sun

Hello classmates this time I will talk about some of my favorite photographs.

This picture was taken by “pjcanut” last june 25th 2007.

Pjcanut is an amateur photographer he likes to take all kinds of photographs, especially landscapes.

He likes to upload their photos to web forums, with the intention that everyone their can see.

This photo was taken at Teotihuacan was one of the major cities of Mesoamerica during the pre-Hispanic times.

Teotihuacan today is a tourist town, which draws many people from all social classes. Can be observed in Teotihuacan variety of some small pyramids and other huge, the most famous pyramids are the Pyramid of the Sun and the Pyramid of the Moon.

The photo shows the sun pyramid, which fascinated me.  About a year ago I had the opportunity to go to Teotihuacan.

The pyramid you can climb to reach the top, has 264 steps, is said to be at the top, standing in the center of the platform, if you make a wish, it will surely be fulfilled, it is also the appropriate place to receive "cosmic energy", even more, there are parents who bring their children in their arms to the top for presentation to the cosmos, the Pyramid of the Sun takes respect for a sacred temple.

Undoubtedly, it most exciting  of Teotihuacan was to climb the pyramid of the sun, it was exhausting but also very satisfying, something bad , maybe it was the vendors who insist on any article to sell and do not leave us alone throughout the trip, but overall it's a great place to spend with your friends, family, girlfriend. So that if you ever will go to Mexico do not forget to visit Teotihuacan.

Hello classmates this time I'll talk about music

My experience with music was very enjoyable; I like all kinds of music from classical to rock and roll.

When I was little I liked to play the piano even attended some classes, the piano that played in my house was an old piano whose trademark was Marshal, l after a while I got bored but my parents encouraged me to continue playing, but I didn´t  follow  because it needed a long time.

Some time later I went to a concert in which he played a famous piano player which not remember his name, was a great experience and I remembered when I played this instrument.

My favorite character

I talk about Valentin Letelier.

He was a politic and philosopher Chilean..

He was born in June 19 the 1852 in a family farm in the area. His parents were Gregorio Letelier and transito Madariaga. Study in high school in that city to then move to liceo nacional of Santiago. In 1875 he was a lawyer at the University of Chile.

In 1881 he was appointed by the government as secretary of the Chilean legation to Germany. In this country, Letelier noted the educational system in place in the country, which seems appropriate for Chile, and which spreads widely.

He also participates in the founding of the Pedagogical Institute in the university of Chile in 1899. Also at this time Letelier created reform the School of Mines of Copiapo.

The reason I chose to Valentin Letelier:

-He was a student and professor at the University of Chile.

-was one of the creators of fech (Student Federation of the University of Chile)

-impeller the carrer the science politic in Chile.

Party mechona

The party mechona. It was in April 31 this year. The party was in street bellavista. I went with 3 friends Juan Carlos, Robert and Alan.   

When I  arrived at  the  party I found more friends, a soon as I arrived at the party my friends  served me  one beer.   Later I went    to the bar because I had to serve alcohol to my colleagues, the drinks were sierra morena, guantamanera, capel, alta del Carmen and a lot of beer.

At one o clock all the people were drunk and they didn’t care about the alcohol.  A little later the police arrived to cancel the party because more people were drunk and this people destroyed things.

The party finished and the people went home.

My objective in this course is to speak and understand English
lenguage in  a better way in order to communicate in the workplace and
society. It is also  for speak with any country where the English
language predominates.
The exchange views with my colleagues in English seems a very
entertaining way to learn the language.
